Please join us on Wednesday, November 18th, 2020 for Beyond Pink: Preventing Violence Against Girls*, hosted by the Justice for Girls Coalition of Washington State. Beyond Pink 6 is a FREE one-day virtual summit and training for girl-serving advocates and professionals who work in and across systems including schools, youth development, child welfare, juvenile justice, health, mental health and housing.
Andrea Wessel, Sexual Health Education Program Specialist at the WA Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) will provide this year's training. This presentation offers a look at the foundational practices of sexual violence prevention and how to practically use skills to help organizations create policies and programs that promote violence prevention. Justice for Girls Coalition Youth Program & Training Specialists will also present Healthy Youth Survey data on the safety and well-being of girls in WA. Youth speakers and artists will share their experiences and perspectives with you. We are also setting up engaging digital spaces for networking and connecting with fellow attendees.
Beyond Pink is free to attend this year! We hope this removes some barriers to attendance and allows more girl advocates to join.
